BIOS guide
1 setting to change
ASRock B560M Steel Legend
Before you start
- Menus vary from one board to the next: if a path doesn’t match exactly, search for the setting’s name.
- Follow the steps in order: some options only appear once the previous one is turned on.
- A greyed-out or missing option means your board doesn’t offer it — move on to the next one.
Resizable BAR
Advanced → Chipset Configuration → C.A.M (Clever Access Memory)
Set to Enabled
The option is called C.A.M
Turn on “Above 4G Decoding” first. On some boards, the option only appears after you save and restart once.
L'option n'APPARAÎT qu'après avoir activé Above 4G Decoding et redémarré une première fois.
To leave the BIOS
- F10 — save changes and restart.
- Esc — leave without changing anything, if in doubt.
- If the PC won’t restart after a change: cut the power, remove the motherboard’s coin battery for a minute, then plug it back in. The BIOS goes back to its factory settings.
After restarting, reopen the app’s BIOS page: it rereads your machine and tells you what was actually applied.
